Last year’s PREMIER LOUNGE offering at INDABA was such a success that the concept returns to INDABA 2015 in the form of the Business Buyers Lounge, offering INDABA exhibitors a bespoke, customised environment in which to conduct business meetings.

The return of the Business Buyers Lounge is a direct response to interest from exhibitors and South African Tourism’s determination to put exhibitors first at INDABA through offering optimised business opportunities.

The Business Buyers Lounge at INDABA 2015 will give exhibitors an exclusive area, perfectly equipped to accommodate deal-making meetings with buyers. There are two categories of Business Buyers Lounge; exhibitors and non-exhibitors. Non-exhibitors have an option of conducting all their INDABA appointments from their bespoke Business Buyers Lounge hub.

South African Tourism has secured a record number of quality international travel trade buyers who have demonstrated their eagerness to make Africa an important and valuable component of their businesses. The Business Buyers Lounge gives those exhibitors who qualify, optimal access to these buyers to satisfy their ambitions to grow their interest in Africa.

Exhibitors in the Business Buyers Lounge are guaranteed quality meetings with hosted buyers every day of the show. Optimised, managed diaries will give exhibitors maximum value and face-to-face meeting time with the best hosted buyers through the INDABA Diary and Matchmaking system.

Trish Mambinge, General Manager of Shearwater Victoria Falls says that INDABA is an important fixture on the company’s marketing calendar for a number of reasons.

“INDABA provides a good platform for buyer-supplier networking opportunities, the opportunity to meet new business partners and close deals as well as maintain existing relationships,” says Mambinge.

South African Tourism is making Business Buyer lounge hubs accessible and extremely affordable. The cost per hub is R20 000 for INDABA exhibitors; and R30 000 for non-INDABA exhibitors (VAT inclusive). This investment secures the services of a specialist, outsourced meeting and diary management team who will ensure a minimum of eight meetings per exhibitor per day with buyers. The investment buys a private, six square metre meeting hub that features a desk; four chairs; electric plug point; two customised graphic panels and free Wi-Fi.

Business Buyers Lounge exhibitors will enjoy greater flexibility in time management at the tradeshow, as the bespoke space will offer an office away from the office for the duration of INDABA.

Comprehensive information (including qualification criteria) is available on the INDABA website: http://www.indaba-southafrica.co.za/exhibitor/exhibitor-lounge.aspx

INDABA takes place at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre, from May 9 to 11 2015.
