Media and Buyer registrations now open

After a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Africa’s Travel Indaba is back and media and buyer registrations are open!


Africa’s Travel Indaba 2022 is back with renewed energy and focus on creating a platform for the recovery of the tourism industry. The African continent is ready to welcome back international delegates from various parts of the world to reconnect and share real success stories of resilience, whilst demonstrating Africa’s world class tourism products that will continue to give travellers an unforgettable experience.

As valued media stakeholder, you play a key role in growing our industry, and contributing to the success of the business events industry. We invite you, our valued media partners to register and participate in this signature leisure tourism trade show.

We are thrilled that we, as a tourism sector, can once again gather in person, network, share ideas and do business that will contribute to the much-needed recovery.

Official registrations for buyers opened on the 9th March 2022, and as at 23 March 2022, 277 hosted buyer applications have been received. Of the 277 received applications, 44 countries are represented with the highest interest coming from; USA, UK, India, Italy, Germany, Botswana, Brazil, Nigeria, Australia, Zambia, Uganda and Ghana. Exhibitors at this year’s Africa’s Travel Indaba will get the opportunity to showcase their tourism product or service to quality buyers under the following categories; Africa Specialist Outbound Tour Operator, Event Planner and Association, Group Tour Operator specializing in Africa and Overseas Tour Operator/Travel Agent.
